There is a wide body of research detailing the many advantages of attending racially and socioeconomically diverse research schools. Advanced University Research Administration
Advancing University Research Administration is the next phase of the Research Administration Project. It is a suite of projects intended to assess and improve the supporting systems of the research administration processes to improve effectiveness, efficiencies, and customer service, in order to enable the University research faculty to increase research endeavors. Centers and Institutes
Centers and institutes are established within the University to strengthen and enrich multidisciplinary programs of research, public service, or instruction conducted by the faculty and staff. They also may provide undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral fellows with added research opportunities, facilities, and assistance, as well as enhance their involvement in public service and educational activities. Centers and institutes also have a strong positive impact on the economic development of the state by providing job opportunities, supplying technical assistance and training, fostering community development, and enhancing the transfer of new technologies. By engaging in partnerships with organizations such as private or corporate sponsors, educational institutions, and federal or state agencies, centers serve as an important means to address the diverse mission of the University.

The role of Research & Innovation is to provide end-to-end services which facilitate and support all stages of research and innovation development conducted at the West City University, from initial funding of the research through to commercialisation of the outcomes, where appropriate. Research & Innovation provides support and assistance to the University's academic staff in their quest for research funding and other support. |
